Day 1:
Arrival to Leticia at Vasquez Cobo airport, from there we take you by road 11 kilometers to our natural reserve, where you can enjoy a grilled fish for lunch a typical Amazon meal. In this place we can talk about your expedition, review the activities schedule and then we make a short walk through the jungle to the tree house where youll spend the night.
After the installation arrangements and a short break at the cabins, one of our guides will take you to a night walk through the jungle where you can appreciate the jungles nocturnal wild live. For dinner weŽll serve you a delicious pizza a la Amazonas and afterwards your guide will bring you back to the tree house.
Day 2:
Finishing breakfast we start the expedition, the trekking takes place in a primary jungle. This day youŽll hike about 6 hours to reach a small creek where youŽll put up the firs camp. Close by there is an area where the trees are very small full with bromeliads and orchids. The jaguars like to hide out there and it is quite easy to find some track from them. At night the native guides takeŽs you for a walk along the creek looking for some animals and do some fishing.
Day 3:
In the morning, after breaking down the camp youŽll continue going deeper into the jungle. During the trekking you will see giant trees and with luck some animals. In the afternoon youŽll get to a place where a small stream comes out of the ground loaded with minerals, a spot where all kind of animals come to eat the mud to neutralize the toxins from the plants they feed on. Close by you build your camp and at night youŽll go back to the stream and with luck you can observe some wild live.
Day 4:
After breakfast youŽll start walking the final part until youŽll get to an Indian settlement by the Tacana River. Here you have the lunch and a little break, from there youŽll start going down the river with the kayaks. In the late afternoon you will arrive to a Maloca (traditional Indian house) there youŽll spend the night. In the evening you can listen to the stories from the Indians.
Day 5:
This day youŽll keep on going with the kayaks until youŽll reach the spot from where youŽll walk a half hour to get to a nice house in the jungle where you will spend the night.
Day 6:
In the morning you`ll walk back to Tanimboca reserve and then we take you to our small reptile zoo and then tree climbing.
There are 3 observation platforms connected with steel cables. The access to the first platform is by rope climbing. Crossing from one platform to another is through a zip line, by which you practically fly from tree to tree. Descend is done from the last platform by rappel. After finishing the canopy tour you walk for 20 minutes to our restaurant where you have lunch. For the night you stay in a cabin on the edge of the jungle, the rest of the afternoon is free.
Day 7:
Early morning youŽll have breakfast and than a taxi will take you to the harbor of Leticia, with a boat youŽll go up the Amazon River to a beautiful Natural Reserve on the Peruvian side of the river.
The way of getting to this Natural Reserve depends of the time of the year. During the dry season you`ll have to walk around 45 minutes through a path in the jungle. During the rainy season you`ll take a small canoe.
At this lake, there are a lot of birds, monkeys and other wild live that can be easily observed, delicious meals and activities such as cannoning and hiking. The giant lotus flower and the huge Ceiba tree can be also seen. At night youll have the opportunity to go in search of caimans, with luck you`ll find one, catch it, take pictures with it and then release it again.

Day 8:
In morning you`ll start your trip back to the Amazon River where a boat takes you to Leticia. You`ll have some free hours to recognize the city, there is an ethnographic museum which you can visit and also the city of Tabatinga in Brazil. Transfer to Letician airport.
